Hey folks. Zane here. I have to admit, I just got back from riding some waves on this beautiful spring day. I cannot say that I miss winter. But I sure did have some great memories from winter 2009. Here are my favorites.
We started off the holidays at GramE and Papa’s house. “GramE, where did you get all these decorations?”
There were 6 presents I liked the most. First, a piece of broccoli.
Second, a striped apple
Third, myself, wrapped by Papa
Fourth, a horse ride with Mimi
Fifth, a big nap on Uncle Pete. He is a comfortable pillow.
Sixth, QT with my family! Ta-Dah!
We spent the rest of the holidays at Mimi and Papas. The cousins played really hard together.
Cousin Brooke even taught me to walk
By the end, Kai and I were pooped.
I decided my New Years resolution was to dress up a bit more. This is how I kicked of my first meal of 2009.
If I am going to dress nicer, I better learn better table manners. I do not exactly have the right role model at home though.
In January, we took a great family trip to the Children’s Museum of Science in Boston. The Papas showed me lots of fun exhibits.
Then I got to be in my own cartoon show
We kicked off February with Super Bowl Sunday… where else but the Harmons. Here I am with the Queen of the household, Megan, partying down.
Nobile read me some great excerpts from his diary as well
“Uncle Jason, tell Brooke to stop tickling me…”
“Let’s relax on the couch with Mimi”
In March, we took a fun family vacation in Stowe Vermont at the Red Barn
We went sledding…
… and had some nice family meals. Here is Mommy, GramE, me and Kai
… and Tia, Mimi, Papa, and Brooke sitting by the fire
“Papa, you sure you know what you are doing?”
“Wow, I feel so clean Papa”
Here is Daddy, Kai, and I playing hide in seek upstairs in VT.
There is nothing like the meal after a long day of skiing with my Mommy
We capped off the week with some family time on a sleigh ride
I’ll have some spring photos soon.
Love,
Zane

Hello people. What kind of world did you all bring me into here? A crazy financial crisis. A heated presidential race. Tough times require tough measures… Zane measures. With this blog article, I hear-by announce my entry into the 2008 President race!
First things first, let me choose my team. My Vice President running mate is Mommy. She can relate to the female voting crowd… plus I get hungry a lot and need her close by.
My economic advisory board will be Mimi and Grampy. We need to return to our roots to get us out of this financial crisis. Our roots are farming. You need to eat. I need to eat. Mimi and Grampy have been farming the rolling hills of southern CT for over a decade.
With the rising strength of natural disasters, we need to raise the effectiveness of FEMA. Brooke and Kai will lead that effort, given their experience in flood control.
I will need to make some big changes as well. Remember the old days of Kings and Queens. These folks experienced prosperity for hundreds of years at a time. Why can’t we do that today? What did they have that we did not? Ah, The Jester. That is right. We need to formalize humor again. Therefore, I appoint Grampa and Uncle Jason. They are masters of the tickle machine.
Who better to clean up the world we live in than Tia? She will head up my environmental committee.
For my cabinet, GramE and Daddy. When things look down, they will help me rise to the occasion.
As I mentioned, the future of America is farming. We need to return to our basics. I mean, come on, who would pass on a good Pumpkin pie?
“Don’t worry Goats. You will prosper under my leadership”
So you may ask, what is the plan to appeal to the diverse voter demographics in the U.S? I have it worked out. The young voters are easy. Dance:
And music. The plastic cup is growing in popularity as a modern, hip instrument.
I know exactly how to get to the heart of Maine voters. Lobstaaahhh!
The rapidly growing Hispanic population can never get enough of their football, Telemundo style. GOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!
GramE helped me with this shot, a sure win with the traditional Western fans
The fraternity crowd should be a lay up. Nobody knows how to party like me.
Let’s not forget about the Bostonians
So why am I a good candidate? Well, I am always on the move.
I inspire people to walk like me and talk like me
I can be mean when I need to be.
I know how to sniff out the truth. “Wondering who farted? Let me give you a hint.”
And when all else fails, I have a great smile
If all works out, Cousin Brooke will lead my induction ceremony.
Do I have your vote?
Love,
Zane

A big shout out to all my peeps. In the first few months of my life, I have decided to put it all on the line. I want to make it on the Big Screen. Hollywood Baby!
So far, things have been a little slow but I have landed a few small parts. Here is a recap.
First was a brief appearance in Friday the 13th. “Kai, is that the boogie man?”
Then I played a convicted felon in Law and Order. “Listen, I am innocent. Can I go now?”
Here is one of those crazy Sesame Street skits.
I had an entire series with the Discovery Channel.
Here are a few shots in the Amazon jungle. “Don’t look now but you have a huge spider on your neck!”
“Ahhh, the rare but amusing parakeet”
Then on to the Kalahari Desert. “It looks like the tranquilizers have finally kicked in with the lions. Any volunteers to make the first move?”
“I am not sure we have large enough tranquilizers for these guys”
“This is no Tigger...”
“…and this is no Curious George”
Marshall made me a fantastic chair while I am resting off set. “Once I finish my formula I will be ready for my afternoon foot massage guys.”
Daddy and I both got a part with Sleepy’s, The Mattress Professionals.
Here I am auditioning for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. “And we whissle while we work. Doo-dee-doo, doot, doo, doot, doo.”
I did a small modeling gig for Ralph Lauren.
As well as a shot for Fitness Magazine, “I have been on a 100% carb diet since February and look at these results.”
Here I am auditioning for a seat in the next Comedy Central Presents:
A woman got on a bus holding a baby. The bus driver looked at the child and blurted out, "That's the ugliest baby I've ever seen!" Infuriated, the woman slammed her fare into the fare box and took an aisle seat near the rear of the bus. The man seated next to her sensed that she was agitated and asked her what was wrong. "The bus driver insulted me," she fumed.
The man sympathized and said, "Why, he shouldn't say things to insult passengers. He could be fired for that."
"You're right," she said. "I think I'll go back up there and give him a piece of my mind!"
"That's a good idea," the man said. "Here, let me hold your monkey."
Here I am preparing for an episode of Survivorman. “Are those really polar bears that I hear outside?”
I did get a small part in Rambo, “Hit the ground folks. That is enemy fire we are hearing.”
When fame first kicks in, getting recognized on the street is great. However, it eventually becomes a burden. Thank goodness for my bodyguard, Uncle Pete.
I did do a cameo in Aladdin. “Quick, to the camels!”
Here is my small part in Dead Poet’s Society.
There is one thing I love to do to take my mind off the grind. Spend time with family.
Here I am with Great Grandma and Great Auntie Mari. She came all the way to visit from Florida!
I met my Great Auntie Anita for the first time.
My friend Hayden visited me too. Here is a picture of me and Hayden’s dad, Mike.
My babysitter Rachel takes such good care of me. She is very cuddly and knows how to tuck me in the best for bed.
Grandparents. Ahh, they just spoil you, yah know.
Here I am all dressed up with Mommy and Daddy
Of course, how can you really make it on the big screen without a Hollywood mom. Here we are in Boston Common for Mother’s Day
…and in the Southwick zoo for Mommy’s birthday
I love spending time with Mommy. She takes such good care of me.
She pushes me in my swing and makes me laugh.
OK. Signing off. This is me just being cute.
Love,
Zane

Hello Folks. My name is Zane Lander Roberge. I am 8lbs, 8 ounces, and 20 inches long. I am a very relaxed, quiet, and curious man. I LOVE to sleep and get cold easy. Pacifiers relax me but I hate the taste of plastic when it first goes into my mouth. You know what I mean?
I am named after a little boy my parents met on Goose Rocks Beach, the beach that Daddy proposed to Mommy on (I know, Daddy always seems to be making proposals). My middle name is after my great-great grandfather, who was a pretty famous pioneer in the West. Ironically, the well known Western author, Zane Grey, featured my great-grandfather in one of his novels. That’s two ways to get to Zane Lander. Weird, right?
I need to update you all on the last few months. My journey started 9 months ago when I was in pursuit of my long-lost brother, Kai. Little did I know that I found myself in Mommy’s belly.
Now, I know my brother’s scent from anywhere and I knew he had been here not long before me. However, after checking every nook and cranny, he was nowhere to be found.
Everything changed around 1:30 PM on February 19, when I got a huge break in the investigation. A light appeared at the end of a tunnel that I had explored previously. I hurried toward it and at 4:43 PM, I found my family! I knew my reunion with Kai was coming soon.
First, I met my Mommy and Daddy. "I love you Mommy. Thanks so much for making me so healthy. Have you seen Kai?", I said.
"You’re welcome my little Zane", said Mommy. "Kai will be here soon and cannot wait to see you".
Then I met my Mimi, who was there to greet me into the world. She told me all about the fun things we will do together and told me Kai would be here soon.
Then I met my Tia Heather. She could not believe that I came so quick, and was expecting to help Mommy through labor. She held me tight and told me about my cousin Brooke. She had not seen Kai.
Then I met my GramE and Grampa. GramE sang me nice songs and Grampa let me play with his mustache. Grampa said he saw Kai just before me, but did not know where he went.
Finally the next day, big brother Kai showed up. "Hello Big Little Man", he said. "We have so much to catch up on." And we played the rest of the day in the hospital. He knew all the nurses and found a package of Giorgio Armani diapers for me. How can I ever go back to Huggies?
I returned home the next day. We had a nice family weekend together and I got to practice many new things. First, I stretched out.
Then, I spoke into a pretend microphone and waved to the crowd.
Then I did some dancing with Daddy.
Then Kai showed me his rattle.
Then I practiced my "YUCKIE" face.
Then I did some boxing.
Kai even had a chance to work on his babysitting skills. At this pace, it looks like I may be doing the babysitting around here.
Anyway, I am SO glad I finally found him. I do not know about you, but I am pooped.
Love,
Zane
